Our goal is to create Pilates THINKERS. We take you beyond knowing and performing the exercises. We provide you with the skills to benefit you and your clients in order to dive deeper into the work. Welcome to Erudite Pilates teacher training at A Pilates Place!



LEARN PILATES
Erudite Pilates is a 500+ hour program co-taught by three third generation classical instructors. This program is an apprenticeship. You will be learning Pilates by working closely with us as your mentors and at the culmination of all your practice hours, you will be prepared to sit for the NPCT exam, qualifying you as a Nationally Certified Pilates Instructor.
KNOW PILATES
Apprentices will be required to not only attend all six weekend modules, they must take weekly lessons, attend monthly check-ins, complete practice and observation hours, receive direct mentoring from one or more of us, as well as have the option to teach for our studios at the halfway mark of the program.
LIVE PILATES
Apprentices will not only learn the exercises and transitions, but will learn HOW to apply it to their clients.
We go beyond the movement and teach you how to apply to to your clients so that they may see results and live their best lives.
THE DETAILS
WHAT IS THE PRICE OF THE TRAINING?
$500 deposit required to reserve your spot in the program. This fee will be applied to the total cost.
Pricing Plans:
$3200 one time payment
$1650 paid in two installments prior to the first and the fourth modules ($3300 total)
$600 paid in six installments prior to each module ($3600 total)

WHAT ARE THE DATES AND HOURS OF ERUDITE PILATES?
Erudite Pilates Teacher Training will take place in six weekend modules.
Fridays from 5-8, Saturdays from 9-4 and Sundays from 1-4
The dates are:
July 14-16, 2023
September 8-10, 2023
November 3-5, 2023
January 12-14, 2024
March 8-10, 2024
May 3-5, 2024
WHAT ARE THE CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS?
Six weekend modules
120 hours of personal practice
120 of observation (50% may be virtual)
100 hours of practice teaching
55 hours of group classes or private lessons
22+ hours of mentoring and check-ins
Successful completion of assessments
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO KNOW?
Keep in mind that this is roughly a 42 week apprenticeship. All the hours may be spread over the course of the 9 months. These are just guidelines.
At the completion of the program, you may sit for the NCPT exam. This is scheduled on your own time, but will qualify you as a Nationally certified instructor.
